EVAN LONG

COACH

Coach Long brings a standout collegiate career and elite goaltending experience to his coaching role with Predators Lacrosse. A four-year member of the Towson University men’s lacrosse program, Evan earned the starting goalkeeper position in 2023, making an immediate impact on the national stage. That season, he ranked 16th in the nation in goals-against average (10.83) and 22nd in save percentage (52%). He recorded two 20-save performances against top competition, including powerhouse #1 Virginia and Hofstra. His dominant play earned him CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors twice and a spot on the 2023 All-CAA Second Team. Before college, Evan captained McDonogh School’s varsity team and was awarded the prestigious Tim Wynne Maryland Goalie of the Year in 2018—recognizing him as one of the top high school goalkeepers in the country.
